Chemistry	65% & above	60% in Chemistry, 45% in Physics and 45% in Pure Mathematics
Economics	55% & above	45% in Pure Mathematics (Business Mathematics is not eligible)
Education	55% & above	50% in Education
English	55% & above	65% in English or 60% for those with English as 1st Language in HS
History	55% & above	50% in History or 50% in English(Gr. B) in lieu of Philosophy
Philosophy	50% & above	50% in Philosophy or 50% in English(Gr. B) in lieu of Philosophy
Physics	60% & above	55% in Mathematics and 60% in Physics
Pol Science	55% & above	55% in Pol Science or 55% in English(Gr. B) in lieu of Pol Science

For SC and ST candidates - Forms will be issued to the candidates having 40% marks in aggregate or 40% marks in concerned subject(s) in HS or equivalent examination as stipulated by the Calcutta University letter No - CSR/84/2001 dated 11-04-2001.
For Physically Handicapped candidates - 3% seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates.
