ADMISSION - 2010

[ All Admission Notifications/Information are subject to change as per the University Circulars and are Provisional ]

Student admitted in this college from 2008-09 session will be registered in the West Bengal State University (Barasat, North 24 Parganas)

Reservation of Seats

Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste(SC) and Schedule Tribe(ST) are admitted to the merit in the seats reserved for them as per Government Orders issued on the subject time to time.

Results of Admission 2009

Names of the candidates selected for admission will be notified on the college notice board. The lists may also be given in the Website. Individual information are not given to any candidate. Claim to admission shall be forfeited if admission is not taken within the specified date and hours as to be mentioned on the admission list(s).

The Marks of best 4(four) subjects will be considered for all approved council/board examinations. Compulsory ENVS will not be considered for calculation of aggregate in best 4(four).

Admission Schedule :

Selection List             1st July, 2010 between 11:00am - 03:00pm

Waiting List               6th July, 2010 Reporting - 10:30am - 12:00 pm
                                                             Admission - 12:15pm - 05:00 pm

Note :(1) The reporting is essentional for any consideration (either from waiting list and after). All admission are based on reporting slip only. Admission from waiting list are subject to the availability of seat(s) after admission from Selection list.

           (2) If seats are available after the admission on 6th July, 2010, admission will be done on 14th July, 2010 with the reporting slip issued on 6th July, 2010. The candidates will have to report again with the previous reporting slip between 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, followed by admission between 12:15 pm - 04:00 pm.

          (3) The failure to report will be treated as non-interested in admission. The chance for admission will be forfeited forever.

           (4) The approximate amount for admission in BA(Hons) is Rs 1000.00 and that for BSc(Hons) is Rs 1200.00. The candidates should bring all originals and the required amount at the time of admission.
            (5) For further admission, please consult College Notice Board for Notice No -09/admn/10 dated 20/07/10.
