  • Regular seminar on current and universal issues
  • Awareness Programme on gender equality 
  • Renovation and expansion of solar energy plant
  • Continuous awareness programme on health and environment.
  • The IQAC planned for improvement of Divyangjan facilities in college for the differently abled persons.
  • NAACsponsored National seminar on Teaching Learning, INSA outreach programme on cryoelectron microscopy a national one day seminar, A National Webinar on impact of covid on higher education by Education Dept.
  • Change initiative with collaboration of American consulate and change initiative with Capgemini
  • Under active consideration by the Government of West Bengal
  • An awareness programme on AIDS held on 27.11.2019 and an e-magazine "sabuj kalam" on biodiversity was published on 05.06.2020.
  • Two toilets have been renovated in the college for the use of differently abled persons.

PLAN OF ACTION 2017-18 COMPLIANCE
  • The Canteen be renovated. 
  • PG Courses in Botany, Anthropology, Education and Geography be introduced.
  • The Gymnasium be upgraded. 
  • The Herbal Garden be better maintained. 
  • Steps be taken for a Hostel for the Students at the earliest 
  • The Sick  Room be done up
  • The College campus be made WIFI-enabled and LAN be set up.
  • The Canteen is significantly renovated, maintaining all hygienic norms.
  • PG Courses in Anthropology, Botany and Education are ready to be introduced from the next academic session.
  • The gymnasium is significantly upgraded and regularly maintained with a gym instructor.
  • The Herbal Garden is properly maintained under the supervision of a Botany teacher.
  • The issue of setting up a Girls’ Hostel has been taken up with the government. The matter is likely to be brought under process.
  • The Sick room is renovated and maintained under the supervision of a teacher.
  • A committee, newly formed, has undertaken the work.

  • WAN/ LAN be set up.
  • The college campus be made WIFI-enabled.
  • The Herbal Garden be better maintained.
  • The Gymnasium be upgraded
  • PG Courses in English,Botany and Geography be introduced
  • Steps be taken for a Hostel for the Students at the earliest.
  • The Canteen be renovated.
  • More UG Courses be introduced.
  • The Sick Room be done up
  • Departments of Botany and Chemistry have already organized UGC-sponsored Seminars.
  • The Psychological Counseling Cell has been made more functional
  • All the CAS-related papers in respect of teachers(12Nos.)have been forwarded to the Higher Education Department for necessary action
  • Already shifted to the New Building, the Library is being reorganized so as to ensure greater accessibility to books and Journals and space for the reading public.
  • KOHA is set up.

  • Total online e-billing under the E-Pradan scheme with corresponding SBI e-connectivity.
  • WAN connectivity all around the campus needs to be done.
  • Setting up of well-equipped, separate laboratories for all the relevant Departments.
  • Online admission process be upgraded.
  • The Library be shifted to the New Building for more space and accommodation.
  • Renewal of INFLIBNET system in the library.
  • Installation of KOHA in the Library.
  • The college be ready for the NAAC visit.
  • Some national-level seminars be organized.
  • The financial activities, such as billing, of the College are largely done electronically. Likely, the process is going to be upgraded, being far more centralized.
  • WAN Connectivity is still not set up.
  • Given financial crunch, upgrading the laboratories has been admittedly slow; no separation of laboratories for the specialized areas possible right now.
  • Usual online Admission-process has been on.
  • The shifting process is on.
  • INFLIBNET has been there set up and renewed regularly in the Library to access the national and the international journals.
  • KOHA needs to be set up so as to reorganize the Library. The trial is underway.
  • The preparation for the NAAC Visit has been underway; all the Departments are advised to get reorganized and get ready for the process.
  • Departments of Botany and Chemistry have been sanctioned UGC grants for organizing Seminars.
